About

In Fall 2024, Denizen will open a service center on the ground floor of an office building in Mannheim-Fahrlach, just opposite the Carl-Benz-Stadion. The center will cater to local residents and workers, offering:


  • Excellent coffee
  • Delicious breakfast & lunch options
  • Informal touchdown workspace
  • Concierge services


You will be joining a team of international hospitality operators and technologists focused on delivering a great high-tech, high-touch service experience.

Job Scope

This role serves as the primary on-site contact, ensuring that our daily visitors, members, and corporate clients have convenient and productive workdays.


Responsibilities include:



  • Daily set-up, close-down, and active running of the Denizen Food & Beverage Station
  • Barista service
  • Proactive selling and promotion of our product range
  • Delivery of office catering
  • Signing up and onboarding new Denizens
  • Supplier & partner communications


The Ideal Candidate
  • Loves people and delivering great service
  • Knows how to handle a La Marzocco coffee machine ;-)
  • Has first experience in a hotel, restaurant, café, or coworking setting
  • Is motivated to bring year-round hospitality to life in a modern, urban setting in Mannheim
  • Speaks English and German (ideally at a B2 level in both languages)
