In early 2022, the first Denizen House opened its doors in Berlin, offering local residents and companies a range of day-time services and leisure activities tailored to their professional needs.


Conceived as a lobby for the neighbourhood, it offers Denizens – locals and regulars alike – a place away from the home or office, with an open lounge, concierge, grab-and-go café, flexible workspace and a self-care studio with showers and changing facilities. Events and classes, such as meet-ups, food tastings, yoga, and fitness classes round off the comprehensive offering.


Denizen Spaces is a digital marketplace that curates and activates vacant office spaces (think AirBnB for WorkSpace). It connects people looking for flexible work or event spaces with local businesses that want to offer their temporarily unused spaces and welcome new faces. Denizen adds a unique layer of hospitality and service on top of the spaces provided. We are currently managing 16.000 sqm of space in Berlin.


The Denizen team is a mix of hospitality operators & technologists, focused on delivering a great high-tech/high-touch service experience for our residents and the wider neighbourhood, bringing them 365-day hospitality.


Our main investors are Porsche Digital and Solutions Holding (one of the founders of 25hours Hotel Company) and are working with both Modiste (Interior Architects), Workshop Coffee (Speciality Coffee) and Vitra (Strategic Partner) to bring the space to life.

Job Scope

As we aim to expand from 3 to 12 locations in 2024, we are looking for a self and purpose-driven Sales Agent to work with our Commercial & Product Managers, as well as our local Community Management Team.


This role focuses on the development of our network of local companies and integrating them into the Denizen Ecosystem.


Responsibilities

  • Operate as the first point of contact for all inbound sales enquiries for Denizen, and communicate with them by phone, email, and website chat
  • Identify potential B2B clients, including corporate accounts, service partners, and event agencies
  • Develop customized proposals based on the specific needs and preferences of clients
  • Negotiate rates, terms, and contracts with clients to secure bookings
  • Organize show arounds
  • Communicate with the operational teams and space hosts to ensure a successful execution of bookings
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients to drive repeat business
  • Create and maintain sales and marketing materials (online and offline)
  • Work with the product & development teams, refine the onboarding and ongoing customer relationship management with local corporates, service partners, and event agencies.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Has first experience in a Hospitality, Sales, Event or Customer Service setting
  • Is tech-savvy
  • Loves people, coffee and delivering great service
  • Is motivated to bring 365 day hospitality to life in a modern, urban setting in Berlin
  • Speaks English & German (ideally as of B2 level in both languages)
